REACHsuite shown to CEFIC REACH IT Architecture Committee

The Brussels meeting, organized under the umbrella of Cefic's IT Architecture initiative, had the objective to achieve standardization on data exchange between systems, e.g. IUCLID5, EHS, SDS, CSA/CSR, ERP, SIMS etc. and a key objective of the architecture project is to define boundaries of various IT systems in scope of REACH, by which data interfaces can be agreed upon.

To quote Cefic: "Commercial software providers are faced with interfacing issues for their customers, who are dealing with a variety of IT systems to support REACH. We all have in common that (standard) interfaces are needed at least with IT systems developed by the Commission / Agency.

If we can agree on the key systems within IT Systems Architecture blue print, customers and commercials software providers can all benefit and be more productive in implementing IT systems for REACH."

REACHsuite, in conjunction with several other key global providers of commercial REACH IT solutions each gave a 30 minute presentation to the Committee and then contributed to the debate on the issues, opportunities and benefits that working together will bring to our collective customers.
