Baytouch forges major alliance with Penman Consulting

Mike Penman of Brussels-based Penman Consulting has agreed to work with Baytouch and help develop the REACHsuite application to provide further benefit and utility to its expanding customer base, which also results in a Brussels base for the respected UK software developer.

Mike brings over 30 years of practical experience with active international involvement in environmental health and safety in major corporations and related trade associations. His career has encompassed toxicology testing, information management, industrial chemicals regulatory management, health research projects, and latterly for one of the world’s largest companies, the management of REACH and GHS implementation. He is well recognised for his unique blend of skills both within and outside of the chemical and oil industries. He was involved in the development of IUCLID 5 from industry’s point of view and was the web developer for the much-praised ECETOC Targeted Risk Assessment Tool.

Mike is excited by the opportunities the Baytouch partnership provides. “From my analysis of the tools available to enable companies to comply with all the complexities of REACH, there is evidently a need for clearly thought out solutions to not only manage the considerable supply chain issues but to help guide companies through the complex project management and all the actions that will be required.” And he continues, “Building on the unique REACHsuite product that Baytouch has already developed, I am confident that we shall further advance and consolidate our industry leadership, offering significant help to many who are faced with the fog of complexity which REACH generates”.
