Seminar - Managing REACH activities in Companies, Consortia and SIEFs

At this critical stage of REACH, the post-preregistration period where there is now much activity going on with the formation of SIEFs and Consortia management, we have brought together 2 leaders in this field to update you on the “practice” of what is happening – as opposed to the theory which many people are espousing.

The seminar is run by two well-known practitioners in regulatory circles with many years of real-world practical experience within the chemical industry, who are also closely involved in the management of Consortia and SIEFs.

Mike Penman MBE of Brussels-based Penman Consulting is the Project Director for 2 consortia, the Lower Olefins and Aromatics - which is probably the largest European - and the Higher Olefins and Poly Alpha Olefins and with experience in advising several others on their formation and operations.

Dr Patricia Jones of Hammonds LLP, the well known law firm that has been closely involved in drawing up consortia agreement and advising on consortia and SIEF member behaviours in what can be a legal minefield under EU competition law.

This event is timed to give you practical insights into how SIEF and consortia are actually working so you can develop your strategies based on real-world experience and, for the 2 hours, it could prove to be an important seminar in developing your understanding.
